Been coming here at least twice a year ever since I was young until quarantine was implemented. It makes me happy that I was able to come here again after 2 years, and I have to say, truly nothing has changed except the fact that they repainted the well. The food here is absolutely amazing. I recommend the prawns, they're delicious! And the Pollo a la Kieve is to die for. And the Salpicado de Solomillo is good too! So if you're looking for good food, I recommend Casino Español! Just remember to become a member first. Hehe! ;)

The Casino Español de Manila was a club established in 1893 by Spaniards living in the Philippines as their exclusive venue for recreational and social activities. It later opened its doors to Filipino members to foster Spanish-Filipino ties in the country.

One my family's favorite places to eat. Affordable Spanish restaurant and their Paella is one of the best I've tasted. The place is a membership club though, so you'll need to at least know someone who is a member and have them call the restaurant authorizing you to eat there.

Excellent service, great tasting Spanish food at affordable prices, excellent spacing, keeps tables at the right distance for social distancing and the ambience of history makes you feel that meal is a bite from Manila's glorious past

A hidden gem. They have the best Paella dishes I've tasted in Manila. Requires 35-45 minutes to prepare so you can order soup and some appetizers while waiting. They're also open to non-members! So great for romantic dates or casual dinners with friends or family. Meal prices are affordable like a dinner for two could cost from 1,500-3,500. They also have a reasonable wine selection. Parking can be along Kalaw street or inside the compound. No dinner reservations required!

I ordered Filipino Style Steak. I requested that the meat be made well done. The meat was reddish and still oozing with some blood. In fairness, the waiters were very accomodating and easy to talk to.
